May 2023 starts off with the most intense, profound, and transformative energy which no one will be able to escape or avoid. The month starts off with Mercury Retrograde in the sign of Taurus creating frustrating challenges in communications, travel, and thought process. Mercury Retrograde invites us to review and reflect on ourselves, plans, and relationships. Pluto will station retrograde on the first day in May, encouraging us to make internal changes and release bad patterns and habits. On May 5th, the Lunar Eclipse in Scorpio will trigger endings of karmic cycles. The energy will push us to a deep emotional and spiritual purge. This is the last eclipse for Scorpio and the final metamorphosis.
The second week of May encourages us to balance, heal, and nurture as Venus enters the sign of Cancer. The sextile energy also assists us in getting our affairs in orders and find greater harmony within our relationships and life in general. It’s a week to move things along and show follow through.
